What data the FireTracker app and this website use, why, and how to have it deleted.

- Your investment data is stored only to keep it safe and in sync between your devices.
- No name, email or password needed - a phone number only if you want one.
- No ads, no trackers, and I don't sell your data.
- You can delete your account and all its data in the app, at any time.
Your investment data
What you enter or import, saved to your account so it is synced and can be restored. A copy stays on your device, so the app also works offline.

Your account
When you start, the app creates an anonymous account. Add a phone number only if you want to reach your data on another device - you then sign in with a one-time SMS code.

- An account identifier and, if you add it, your phone number. On the web, an invisible reCAPTCHA checks you are not a bot

Crash reports
When the app crashes or hits an error, it sends me a report so I can fix it.

Exchange rates
To convert your portfolios into one currency, the app downloads current and historical exchange rates.

Deleting your account
In the app: Settings → Your account → Delete account. Your account and all its data are erased from the cloud at once and cannot be restored, so download a backup first if you may want it back. If you can no longer open the app, write to firetracker.outspoken680@passinbox.com and describe the account (for example the phone number it uses), and I will delete it for you.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, limit its use, object to it or take a copy - the app's backup and CSV export already give you one. Write to firetracker.outspoken680@passinbox.com. If you think I broke the rules, you can complain to your data protection authority (in Poland: UODO).
Good to know
- The app and this site are run by Michał Rosiak, the author of FireTracker (firetracker.outspoken680@passinbox.com).
- Backups you export, broker reports you import (CSV, XLSX) and summaries you share stay on your device or go only where you send them. Only the operations read from an import are saved to your account.
- App settings (theme, base currency, saved exchange rates) and your language choice on this site are kept only on your device.
- Google and Vercel may process data outside the EU (USA) under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
- Links to Discord and to your email app open only when you tap them.
- When the way the app handles data changes, this page changes too, with a new date at the top.
